![]() ![]() if the Aurora was a ship designed to investigate and provide maintenance to the whoever we see on the island - then their emergency mode would likely contain blueprints meant for repairing said base on island - thus MP room, foundation, maybe more structural based things. If it was some form of maintenance - The ship size is. OR - Would serve as an orbital storage chest for the colony crew. your ship was built to handle those things where it needed to but its crew would only be intended to go from safe hospitable area 1 to safe hospitable area 2, maybe 3, and back. You definitely wouldn't have radiation or still suit known or blueprint. Potentially "Emergency" would be something inbetween Colony/science - where you had a foundation and room, and the means for unlocking potential. If it was a freighter/transport of some kind - You probably wouldn't have anything, and would likely be ♥♥♥♥♥♥. If it was a colony vessel - Scanner probably wouldn't be possibly until after founding the base - and again, Room, foundation, and likely, an outdoor or indoor planter of some sort - some form of "terraforming" would be your emergency blueprints - you would have the core levels for starting an emergency outpost/camp that could support settlers and expand into a full blown habitat. and you'd use that stone-titanium and other surface resources to make the foundation and room - and go from there. You'd have to really push for that titanium "waste" that the stones force you to have to deal with instead of lead or copper when you really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ need those and not titanium because scrap for eons for titanium. You'd probably also have to scavenge the rocks, harder, because you probably wouldn't have plasteel and glass and scrap to titanium blueprints - Unless your fabricator in the life-pod was 100% functional. ![]() If something went wrong - Those base-level science and survival things would be what was programmed into a science-gear's emergency modes. You /would/ have the room- It is the base-level part. ![]() You wouldn't have everything you currently start with If the Aurora was a Science vessel - having the scanner and other non-lethal items that you can do - The room would be the basic - emergency level - blueprint/supplies that your handheld and lifepod fabricator - would always have - if they function (emergency mode PDA, Fabricator doesn't say whether it was damaged or not) Has to be scanned from the outside, from pretty close up.Originally posted by Furious Tumblnachos:wouldExcept realistically you would probably have the room and not the other pieces. I'll give that a try, I never saw a prompt for it when aiming at them with my scanner though. I must be stupid, I had no idea I could scan the buildings. Originally posted by ImHelping:Silly question. It's a very real possibility something has gone wrong. You used to be able to see the rooms render 500+ kilometers before the island itself rendered).īut if you can't see them from where you are standing, and it's the correct island. If you are on the correct island, then, NORMALLY, the mountain top bases in particular would be visible from many parts of the island (unless they cut down the draw distance even more since I last considered that. But with the odd state the game is still in, more details are needed than "So I looked on an island a lot" So it is still possible you're having real problems and not just "LOL learn 2 play CoD boy" as some idiots would put it. I mean I've seen people posting in the bugs forums that floater island isn't even rendering for them, falling through base terrain, even one where NOTHING is spawning anywhere in the safe shallows from resources to coral. Is it the island with or without the Giant alien gun for a base? No MP rooms on that island? Because there are two islands. Are you scanning the buildings?ĭumb question the second. ![]()
